Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers!

Stampin' Blendabilities

Last night, I hosted a Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers class, which was lead by my oh so talented husband, Jon Neill (he happens to be a professional artist and you can see his work at neillartstudios.com and jonneill.com!). Needless to say, the class was amazing and very insightful, providing those that attended with a true perspective of shadows and highlights, and how to create them using the new Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers.

Of course, if you are going to teach about shadows and highlights, and how to create them on flowers, you need to have a vase full of amazing samples to study!

The class started with some demonstrations and explanations on the technique.

This is the text that I put together, with Jon’s assistance, for the technique guide that participants created, along with their first colored sample. I know everyone has their own way of using the Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers, and this is our perspective on what has worked well for us.

I will be sharing more from our class tomorrow, with samples of the cards that everyone made.

With October around the corner, don’t miss out on the stamping opportunities this coming month, starting with my shoebox swap to celebrate World Card Making Day on Saturday, October 4.

Thank you for visiting my blog posting, and please feel free to leave a comment ~ best wishes to you, Sarah

These are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used for this technique card. Click on the product below for more details, and easy, online shopping.

I also used the Cherry Cobbler Core’dinations, which has been discontinued, and is only available in the clearance rack as the Regals Core’dinations for only $9.59
