Are we there yet??

I can not wait for fall to be here! I am so over summer, and of course, here in southern California, we really do not experience the seasons, but there is something in knowing that the leaves are turning elsewhere, and I can bring this theme into my whole being, particularly my cards! You just won’t find me bundled up in sweaters, scarves and boots!

Fall official begins on September 22, but I am starting this week, in fact, we made a fall equinox inspired card at my last Seasonal Cards Stamp Camp, which I will post later in the week.

Here are a couple of sneak peeks, of projects for events this week.

The first is a card that I have designed for Sunday’s Everyday Cards Stamp Camp – there are only a couple of spaces left, if you would like to join in, please email me at sarah@projectstamp.com

Seasonally Scattered

I used the Seasonally Scattered stamp set that we received at Convention. I have to say that I really like this set, and know I will be using it a lot this season! I colored the rhinestones with the Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers, it’s alway great to get just the right color that you need for each project.

This next sneak peak is for our downline meeting on Saturday, and I actually created this project first, and transferred the colors and design to the card. Sometimes you don’t have to reinvent the wheel!

Fall inspired box w/belly band

This is a box that I made using the Gift Box Punch Board. This is amazing and a great investment at only $19.95. View it online here. I added leaves, that I textured, by folding, scrunching and sponging.

Fall inspired box w/belly band

I decided a belly band was a good idea, as I wanted everyone to have the opportunity to complete the box with all the decorations. Then, when they found the right occasion, remove the belly band and fill the box with a gift!

Don’t forget that the Holiday Catalog is now on sale, so you too can purchase the Gift Box Punch Board and Seasonally Scattered stamp set, along with many other amazing seasonal products – happy shopping!
